This cabin was built in the 1960's from logs and timber taken from the nearby area. It was one of the first structures in the Edelweiss area and served as a hunter's camp complete with horse corral for trips into the back country. It was recently remodeled and now has a beautifully finished interior.

Fawn Creek Hideaway has fully equipped kitchen w/dishwasher & microwave, a beautiful and newly remodeled enclosed sunny breakfast nook, and living room with gas fireplace. TV/Blue Ray DVD/Netflix, CD player, and a great entertainment deck with BBQ and table for relaxing in this wooded setting are all provided. There are two bedrooms, with queen beds, a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living room, as well as a booth that converts to a double bed in the dining area, as well as two bathrooms.

Winter ski trail access is just minutes away by car, and summer walking, hiking and biking opportunities abound.

Spring and Fall special. Automatic price reductions of 20% in March/April, and Oct/November, excluding Thanksgiving. Call us at 800-422-3048

Do you have any additional comments or suggestions for Fawn Creek Hideaway?
The bed was a bit too hard for my wife, and the floors creak quite a bit at night when walked upon.

Were there any specific amenities you particularly enjoyed -- or missed -- at Fawn Creek Hideaway?
We have stayed at Fawn Creek Hideaway many times over a period of years and we keep coming back because we enjoy the place so much and feel so at home there. Nothing in particular after all these visits but just everything about it.

Visit: July 2019 - If the internet router can be upgraded, that might be a consideration for the owner to think about. I realize the area this cabin is in, probably not conducive to a really good connection (as well for cell service), but the wireless router is pretty old and a newer one may help to enhance the slowness, non-connectivity issues. Other than that, we were very happy with overall thoughtfulness of what was provided, especially little things, like scissors, flashlight, landline etc...
