This newer 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin is located in the pine forest at "The Woodlands" development, about 11 miles from Winthrop and 3 from Mazama. Access to the Methow Trail system is close, and soon to be closer with the development of a spur trail that will connect with the greater system-probably by the winter of 2020/2021.
The house entrance is easy with one step up to the front porch. Once inside the living/dining/kitchen room extends the full width of the house, letting in plenty of light. There is a large smart TV with Wii and 'tons of movies'. There are also lots of board games, and corn hole set etc…. Seating is ample and comfortable on the reclining couch. The kitchen is well appointed and should offer the accoutrements needed, from soup to lasagna. Both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig are available.
Just down the hall is a queen room, the common full-bathroom, as well as the double iron-bedstead master suite with private bath.

Great location in a clean and modern cabin.

This was a perfect little get away home for a weekend trip from the city! Close to both towns in the area, with lots to do, and the house came with everything you would need for a comfortable stay.
Bath mats outside the shower/tub would have been helpful to prevent water from going everywhere. Otherwise we had everything we needed!

This is a lovely cabin, in a great location. It looks great in the pictures and is indeed a lovely place to stay. Would happily stay here again if we're back in the area.
This cabin was relaxing and perfect for our stay and adventures/ engagement at North Cascades National Park!
The cabin was clean and comfortable. Stocked with the essentials for cooking in. My wife and daughter were there for North Cascades hiking and found it to be a great location for hitting the trails early and getting back easily at the day’s end.

Beautiful home nestled in the trees of MacKinney Ridge. Highly recommend this home.
We enjoy the cabin very much, but we did miss better lighting in places. The possibility of a brighter light over the dining table would be great for those of us who like to read the paper at breakfast! And there's a good reading-in-bed light in one bedroom, but not the other.
