Osito Cabin has a large open living area with floor to roofline picture windows lets in plenty of natural light. Enjoy the propane fireplace during the chillier months of the year.There are two queen bedrooms. The 2nd bedroom doubles as a private office with a cozy desk and woodland views. Cook up a fine meal in the fully equipped kitchen and head out to the large deck during the warmer month to enjoy morning coffee and evening sunsets. There is easy access to the Methow Valley Community Trail for skiing and biking. Osito sits atthe doorstep of North Cascades National Park for world class hiking and climbing.
'Methownet' Internet speeds are typically good, allowing for streaming of movies and live video conferencing.Ten minutes from downtown Winthrop and 5 minutes from Mazama.
Pets are not allowed, and this is a non-smoking cabin, which includes the deck area.

It's so nice. My first impression was wow, this is even nicer than the photos. It's about equally distant between Mazama and the town part of Winthrop. Great access to trails. The house is in a little development and while there isn't much elevation, the driveway happened to be icy like a skating rink. We should have spent some time with a shovel breaking it up. Sometimes in the Methow, the roads are clear and you need your chains just to get up a driveway. It's always worth it. Kitchen was well stocked. The space is just perfect. Even the twin beds have great mattresses. I would love to come back.
The heating system was problematic- propane stove remote hard to understand; kitchen kickboard heater/fan noisy and could not be turned off with turning circuit breaker off

Lovely new home, beautifully appointed with modern appliances and comfortable bedrooms. Warm, quiet, cozy with great ambiance and lots of spices for great cooking!
The property was clean and easy to access with instructions. Pantry and kitchen had some items stocked which were nice for cooking.
We loved our stay in Osito Cabin! Quiet! We loved the tranquility among the tall trees. The tall windows made us feel we were by ourselves in the forest -- with all the amenities of home. The modern kitchen had everything one could want or need. The home was spotlessly clean! The gas stove in the living area was great in the evenings when it was raining outside.
Kitchen was fully stocked, and the whole thing was great.
The only issue is the super-iffy internet, but that's the Methow Valley for you.
A terrific spot in the woods. The kitchen is well equipped and fully supported our culinary quests! We greatly appreciated how you designed the space and the quietness of the surroundings. Great location and loved everything about it! Super clean, great space to lounge with friends and great views of the young bucks grazing through the woods!!
