Privacy Policy

Last Modified: April, 2015

At Central Reservations we very much value and respect your privacy. We will never sell or rent your information, and we only share it with 3rd parties as specifically required to process your lodging reservation. For example, we share your information with the lodging establishment you reserved so that they will know who to expect.

You are not required to provide any personal information while browsing our website. In order to make a lodging reservation, you must provide us with certain personal information such as your name, your credit card number and expiration date, your credit card billing address, your telephone number, and your e-mail address. We require this information so that we can process, fulfill, and confirm your reservation.

All personal information you provide to us through our website is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt your information before it is sent to us.

The lodging establishment you reserved will have access to some of your personal information as needed to provide you with appropriate service. We also securely transmit your payment information to the appropriate credit card company during processing of your reservation, but for your protection we do not store your complete credit card number on our servers.

For your convenience, we may make certain information about your upcoming reservations available to you and other members of your party. For example, if a member of your party forgot the name of the lodging establishment you reserved or needed assistance with driving directions, we may disclose that information after they have provided us with information sufficient in our eyes to confirm their identity as a member of your party.

We do not believe in spamming our customers, and will never send you unsolicited marketing or promotional emails. If you wish to receive an occasional promotional email with seasonal specials, you may choose to opt-in from your account (and may unsubscribe at any time).

In addition to the circumstances described above, Central Reservations may disclose customer information if required to do so by law, court order, as requested by other government or law enforcement authority, or in the good faith belief that disclosure is otherwise necessary or advisable including, without limitation, to protect the rights or properties of Central Reservations when we have reason to believe that disclosing the information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing interference with our rights or properties, whether intentionally or otherwise, or when anyone else could be harmed by such activities.

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent, and we expect most such changes will be minor. Regardless, we will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of Privacy Policy changes).

If you have any additional questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please feel free to email us at [email protected] or call us at 800-422-3048.
