An older house is a home with a history and a story to tell. You can feel it when you walk in the front door. Hannah's House is one of those houses. But the family that owns this house, is a young one. They originally lived on the street, one of the Methow Valley's historic neighborhoods. Life changed, they moved away, but continued visiting the neighborhood and their new-found friends. The house went for sale and the neighbors called. New chapter. New remodel.
The original farmhouse was smaller, with layers of changes added over the decades as families grew. The main floor has a living/dining space, kitchen, full bath, and king-bed bedroom, with a deck that leads outside to the side and back yard. Upstairs are two rooms-a queen bedroom, and a walk-through sitting room/office with a single futon couch.
