Blackbird Cabin is a just-completed new home located on a quiet and secluded 20-acre property, yet only a 1-mile walk or drive to downtown Winthrop. It’s very close to several hiking and mountain biking trails (only a 10-minute walk on our private road to the popular Riser Lake trail) and to both the valley bottom and the Rendezvous ski trails.

The home is an open floor plan with lots of windows providing abundant light, sunshine, and panoramic open views of the valley and surrounding mountains. There is a fully stocked kitchen with a Smeg gas range and walnut bar. The propane fireplace and electric baseboards in each room provide nice warmth on those winter nights. There are 2 bedrooms, a sleeping loft, and 1 bath. The main-floor bedrooms have queen beds, and in the loft there is one twin, one full, and one queen futon.
