Up the stairs is the 'main' floor, with kitchen/dining/living room, bathroom and bedroom. Again climbing to the open loft, there is a large area with a sleeper sofa and sitting area.

Were there any specific amenities you particularly enjoyed -- or missed -- at Goat Ledge?
The cabin is spacious, has plenty of privacy, there are peak-a boo views of the mountains and we really enjoyed the wood burning stove.

Were there any specific amenities you particularly enjoyed -- or missed -- at Goat Ledge?
Overall, our stay at the Goat Ledge cabin was lovely. Great setting, pretty view. We have a few notes for improvement -- Better signage would make it much easier to find--There is a worn wooden sign on a tree, partially obscured by brush--putting a marker (blue fire number?) closer to the road--perhaps on a stake, rather than a tree would be helpful.--the driveway is a bit difficult (definitely recommend 4 wheel drive in muddy or icy conditions!) As noted in a previous review, the lighting in the main floor bedroom is really bad--much stronger bulbs and/or additional lamps are definitely needed. There are no window coverings on the majority of windows--they would be really nice to have for both privacy and light blocking.

Lights in main bedroom were weak. Needed an axe - you guys paid for one. On the whole, it was great.
