This is a wonderful, recently-built 3-bedroom cabin, located in a quiet cul-de-sac with mountain views in all directions. It's a short walk to the Winthrop Ice Rink and Town Trailhead. A 15 minute walk across the river via the Susie Stephens trail and pedestrian foot bridge will take you to the center of Winthrop.

For skiers, there is a heated waxing shed, which doubles as lockable storage for up to about 5-6 bikes. There's also a 50 amp outdoor receptacle for EV charging -- plug in your Tesla!

Furnishings and decorations include the work of local artisans. The house is cozy enough for a couple, but nicely laid out and furnished so that 6 people won't feel crowded. The kitchen is a cook's delight, and the dining nook makes shared dinners a joy.

The house does not currently have air conditioning, but swamp coolers are provided on both floors to help keep things comfortable in the summer months when you're not relaxing on the front porch in one of the Adirondack chairs.

Entertainment provided by the local deer, eagle and wild turkey populations! There is no TV monitor, although WiFi and a small Bluetooth speaker are provided if you wish to bring your own device.

My sisters, daughter& I stayed here for my other daughters wedding in town. It was a perfect size and comfortable for our “nest” on a chaotic weekend . Everything we needed was there and there was enough room to be together and apart

We loved our time at Little Bear. The access to beautiful trails to quickly get downtown or out for a wander is wonderful. The cabin is laid out so well and the setting is lovely.

We stayed in town due to a funeral for a family member and the cabin was exactly what we all needed as a little reprieve from the long days in preparation and to decompress after. Front porch is the best on a early sunny AM with your coffee. Bring the kids bikes - they can ride up and done the path and around the loop the cabin is located on. Easy 10 minute walk into town. Grab an ice cream cone at Sheri's for the walk back!
