The Mazama Trails Studio Cottage is a small cozy cabin that sits just below Flagg Mtn., located just 1.3 miles east of the Mazama Store. It is a one-room apartment with room for one, or two people. Close to the Methow Valley ski trail (in the winter), and bike trail in the summer. Simple, cozy, efficient.
It has a large covered porch to enjoy the view and listen to nearby Goat Creek running around the eastern shoulder of the mountain. The MVSTA trail is adjacent to the property, offering miles of access to the beautiful landscapes of the upper valley. Easily accessible off the county road with any vehicle.

Were there any specific amenities you particularly enjoyed -- or missed -- at Mazama Trails Studio Cottage?
The cottage was well appointed, bed was very comfortable. I’d suggest considering replacing the patio chairs with similar ones that recline with the footrest.

We have stayed here several times, and each time it is a delight. The location can’t be beat for quiet, yet being close to activities.

Loved the heated floors and sitting out on the deck chairs. The bed was also very comfortable

As the lighting says, this cabin is "simple, cozy, efficient." Listing pictures are accurate (not shown is a small, much welcome AC unit). The cabin sits among a small group of cabins (unclear if they are all rentals), but there is good separation between them, so you don't feel you're right on top of your neighbor. The cabin is simply, but nicely decorated and the kitchen has all the basic items you need for making simple meals. Great location, close to the Mazama Store, Mazama Public House, and Old Schoolhouse Brewery. Short drives or walks to miles of biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing trails.We'd definitely book this cabin again.

I appreciated that there was dish soap and a sponge. I also appreciated the kleenex. The sheets were very cheery. We were very grateful we could bring our dog. Thank you.

This cabin is a perfect location for hikes, restaurants, store, shopping. The cabin itself had everything we needed - cute, cozy, and peaceful.We enjoyed the use of the small grill and enjoyed the comfy bed. Our favorite restaurant was the Mazama Public House. Excellent food, fast service, airconditioned and a good view. Winthrop is a cute town full of shops and restaurants. Good place to visit on your non-hiking day. We also enjoyed the Shafer Historical Museum. Our favorite hike was Blue Lake.Loved this area and hope to return.
